Mar 17, 2026
Ada, Ohio – Sunrise Cooperative’s Aaron Clark has been named the 2026 Ohio Certified Crop Advisor of the Year, as recognized by the Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA). Clark was honored at the 2026 Conservation Tillage & Technology Conference in Ada, Ohio, on March 10, 2026.
Clark serves as an Agronomy Solutions Advisor (ASA) at Sunrise and is based out of our Crestline Agronomy facility. He joins his colleague, Josh Snyder, ASA at Sunrise, who also earned this distinguished honor in 2024.
Sponsored by the Ohio CCA Program, the state award recognizes individuals for their exceptional service to farmer clients, outstanding contributions to nutrient management, soil and water management, integrated pest management, and crop production, and for their role in fostering knowledge exchange within Ohio's agricultural industry.
A Millersburg, Ohio native, Clark is a 2011 graduate of West Holmes High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from The Ohio State University in 2015. His career has centered around ag sales since graduation, joining the Sunrise team as an Agronomy Solutions Advisor in 2017.
“I truly appreciate the nomination for this award,” stated Clark. “My connection to farming began with milking cows in high school and that allowed me to build a career in agronomy sales. Thank you to the team at Sunrise for supporting me, which allows us to take care of our customer-owners.”
"Aaron’s dedication to constantly update his practices and approaches to match the evolution of the industry has provided a strong partnership with his clients in support of their goals," said Jason Hartschuh, chairman of the Ohio CCA board. "His balance of tried and-true practices with new practices and products has helped to keep his clients on the cutting edge of management strategies.”
