Interns

Sunrise offers a summer internship program for students looking to gain experience in the agricultural industry. Agronomy internships are available annually and others are offered on an as needed basis.

A minimum high school diploma is required to apply for an internship and Sunrise works with students to fulfill college credit. Interns are trained in agronomy and precision related procedures and are equipped with the tools needed to complete everyday tasks.

All internship openings are posted on the Sunrise website in the fall and applicants are interviewed in late December or early January.

From previous interns:
"You can't teach this experience in a classroom."

"The most valuable aspects of my intership were...helping the Agronomy Solutions Advisors sign plots, report findings and notes about a field and learning about all of the current agronomic topics."

"I learned so much from bring an intern at Sunrise - I would reccomend this program to Agronomy students...this program allowed me to gain experience in Agronomy and make valuable connections that increased the size of my network."

"I was able to move through differnet parts of the company and learn how to do multiple things, including equipment maintainance and machine operations."

"I learned the most spending one-on-one time with employees who are out in the fields everyday."
