Sunrise Cooperative Announces 2025 Board of Directors Election Results

September 4, 2025 - Sunrise Cooperative, Inc. has announced its 2026 Board of Director election results. The newly elected directors will serve a four-year term from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2029.
 
Elected to serve on the Sunrise Board of Directors is:
 
District 1: Brian Snavely (Seneca County)
District 2: Doug Swaim (Greene County)
District 3: Jon Gott (Lorain County)
 
Board members Mike Kocher, Adam Agle, Gene Cook and Chad Kemp served on the 2026 Director Election Committee. Customer-owners Hollis Walter, Kirk Glander, Chris Baird and Larry Cook served on the teller committee in charge of counting the ballots.
 
Ballots mailed: 4,838
Ballots returned: 1,197
 
The Sunrise Board of Directors is comprised of 12 members. Serving our customer-owners are nine district representatives and three at-large representatives.
