1.) Apply at https://www.ohioffaworks.com/ - be sure to mark Sunrise Cooperative as your preferred employer. The deadline to apply is March 14, 2027.

2.) Ohio FFA processes the applications.

3.) Ohio FFA will contact you to set up a Zoom interview.

4.) Ohio FFA passes on their recommendations to Sunrise.

5.) Sunrise contacts applicants to set up an in person meeting at their local Sunrise branch.

6.) Sunrise extends offer of employment (*employment is pending a background check and drug test).

7.) Accepted offer list is returned to Ohio FFA to review and select the RISE FFA Career Truck recipient, which is publicly announced on stage at Ohio FFA Convention.

Sunrise Cooperative is looking for hard working individuals, who are team players, good communicator, strategic and creative thinker, with high levels of integrity. A background in agriculture is a benefit but NOT necessary.

Once the RISE applicants have accepted Sunrise’s offer of employment the accepted offer list is returned to Ohio FFA to review and select the RISE FFA Career Truck recipient, which is publicly announced on stage at Ohio FFA Convention.

Yes. If you are unsure about what path you want to take post-high school, we encourage you to still apply for the RISE program. If you have decided to pursue the college route and are contacted by Ohio FFA, simply inform them of your decision.

RISE employees rotate through the Sunrise territory based on the need of each location and season/work. The Sunrise Regional Operations Managers work with each branch to determine their need and the RISE employee work assignments. Work assignments can last from two weeks to two months.

RISE employees should expect to rotate through a minimum of two Sunrise locations within the first six months of their employment. Expect to meet new people, learn new positions, take on responsibility, make new friends and work hard.
