WAAS PRN 133 Test Mode

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be placing PRN 133 into test mode starting May 13th, 2024 through June 7th, 2024. While PRN 133 remains in test mode, GNSS receivers set to use PRN 133 will not receive differential GPS until June 7th, 2024. PRNs 131 and 135 are still operational.

What to Do

If your GNSS receiver is affected you must either manually change WAAS PRN settings to one of the operational satellites 131 or 135, or choose “Automatic” to receive GPS corrections. For your reference, we have provided tutorials below to help with the transition. If you would need further assistance, please contact your Sunrise Precision Solutions Specialist.
