Official Kick Off of 2022 RISE FFA Career Program

Sunrise Cooperative has officially kicked off year three of its RISE FFA Career Program with the Ohio FFA. On June 9th, Sunrise President/CEO George D. Secor presented the 2021-2022 Ohio FFA President Jacob Zajkowski with a new Jeep Gladiator pick-up truck. This truck is for Jacob to use this coming year as he drives across the state of Ohio and serves its 25,000 FFA members.
The RISE FFA Career Program was developed in 2019 and serves two purposes: provide an avenue to reach the future leaders of agriculture and support the Ohio FFA Association State President during their term in office. Starting at the 2019 Ohio FFA Convention, Sunrise committed to provide the Ohio FFA with a new pick-up truck for the state president to drive. Sunrise also committed to hire a high school senior who was active with their FFA chapter and looking to enter the workforce after high school as a full-time employee at Sunrise. As a signing bonus, the new employee will receive the year-old pick-up truck being driven by the Ohio FFA State President.
In 2021, Sunrise expanded the program and hired nine individuals through the RISE FFA Career Program that will take part in Sunrise University. Over the next four years these new employees will experience all facets of Sunrise Cooperative.
